Warlord Games - Hail Caesar - Macedonians

Finally decided to jump into Ancients by picking up some Macedonians from Warlord Games. Macedonian Phalangites, Companion Cavalry and Alexander the Great to the lead them. This is just to begin with of course as i plan to get myself some Cretan Archers and some Greek Mercenary Hoplites to bolster the ranks.

Bolt Action - Late War British Reinforcements

Ive always had a bit of a soft spot for the 25 pdr, coming in at 40/50/60pts for inexperienced/regular/veteran respectively with the option for a 10pt spotter [always handy!]. The fact that it can be used as a light AT gun as well as a light howitzer gives the weapon platform a flexibility in how it supports your men.
The Crusader AA was just one of those purchases i made because I liked the look of the vehicle, then again ive always been a fan of automatic cannons even if they don't seem to do too much in the game of Bolt Action. Plus its always fun to shoot down your opponents air support!

Their objectives were to advance and secure the junctions on either side of the map.

Bolt Action - American Beachhead Defense

Tonight's game was a Japanese assault of a fairly disrupted American beach landing.
Tanks didn't make it shore thankfully for the Japanese who had free reign to push up their "armour" and give fire support to the infantry.
Unfortunately American air support was not on hand to drop bombs on foe or friend this game though the Japanese had a warplane in the skies to strafe the beleaguered defenders.

Bolt Action - 1500pts Americans [Attackers] vs 1000pt Germans [Defenders]

Here is some pictures and a little recap from a game i played in the other week.
The Americans are pushing into a fortified German village, trench works and defensive positions set up in buildings over watching the bridges will make things difficult for them.
The Americans have 3 bridges to cross over to get into town, their objectives are the town square and the junction to the south.
