Star Wars Legion 2v2 Battle Report

The Commanders prepare for battle.

The points were around 940 as I asked Matthew to bring everything he had and I would match it.
Deployment: The Long March
Objectives: Key Positions
Condtions: Clear Conditions

The Speeder Bikes rush forward to try and strike and early blow, only to be hit hard from the Airspeeder in response.

A general advance from the Imperials. Veers and Boba support the troops with the AT-ST on overwatch.

The Fleet Troopers move up and finish off the Speeder Bikes before they even manage to get off a shot.

The Stormtroopers move up to the objective and return fire with Boba into the Fleet Troopers, decimating them.

Leia and the AT-RT push up to try and help the troops in the middle and right flank, taking potshots as they advance.

The AT-RT pushes towards the Stormtroopers on the other objective, unaware that they have Impact Grenades they are going to strike back with.

Luke pushes up to threaten one of the objectives whilst a squad of Rebel Troopers are hunkering down next to one.

Having taken a lot of fire the turn before Boba decides to go down in a blaze of glory and Whipcord Luke in place to give the Stormtroopers another turn to shoot at him and let the Imperial Guard get into position.

The Airspeeder making strafing runs as it passes the AT-ST managing to kill one or two models a turn, using its front facing cannons and Ground Buzzer on the rear. [Dean sneaking in a hand signal to the cameraman]

The Imperial Guard throw themselves into Luke to hold him off the objective as long as possible. Not doing much damage with their first charge. Luke only manages to kill one and wound another things to being immune to pierce from the Electrostaff Guard.

It came down to this final fight on the objective where combined fire from several squads meant that there were more Imperial models holding this objective whilst each other were held respectively.
The Rebels only just having a draw snatched away from them.
